The part nobody prices in
A hundred miles a day, six days a week, is 31,200 miles a year. That is a set of tires, two brake jobs, the oil changes in between, and several thousand dollars off what your car is worth when you go to sell it. Delivery apps pay you the same either way.
Shift is the other option. Run the miles on a cheap car built to absorb them, and keep your own car for your own life.
What you get
The car
A small, efficient, unremarkable car. It is not nice and that is the point. It exists to do this job.
The rate
$42 a day, flat. No mileage cap and no per mile charge. Charging or fuel is on you.
Upkeep
Maintenance, tires and cleaning are handled. You drive it and bring it back.
The terms
A day rate, not a lease. No credit check, no multi year contract, no rent to own.
This is for you if
- You already drive for at least one delivery or rideshare app.

- You want the miles, the wear and the depreciation on somebody else's car.

- You want a daily driver. These are for courier work only.
- You are looking for rent to own.
- You do not have an active account on a delivery or rideshare app yet.
You need a valid driver's license, to be at least 21, and a driving record clean enough to pass a standard check. Insurance and eligibility are confirmed with you before pickup, not on this page.
Read this before you sign up
There are not many cars yet.
Shift is starting with a handful of cars and one city, and which city it is depends on where people sign up from. That is the honest state of it.
So a spot has to mean something. We ask for a card to hold one. Nothing is charged today. Nothing is charged at all until there is a car near you, you have agreed to a start date, and you have the keys. If we never get to your city, you never hear from us again and you were never billed a cent.
